SAP GTS Consultant

Your role in our team:

• Analyze, harmonize, and optimize integrated customs and trade compliance processes within SAP GTS and connected systems.
• Design and implement solutions for business requirements, including system customizing and the creation of technical specifications for developers.
• Participate in national and international project teams as an IT consultant, sub-project lead, or project manager.
• Coordinate, prioritize, and estimate IT demands in collaboration with foreign trade business process owners.
• Facilitate workshops and develop IT concepts as well as training and documentation materials.
• Provide support to Customs & Foreign Trade business users in case of incidents, issues, or operational problems.

Your profile:

• Successfully completed degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.
• Extensive experience as an SAP GTS IT Consultant (in-house or external) or SAP GTS business expert.
• Strong process knowledge of customs and trade compliance within an industrial environment.
• Solid technical expertise in SAP GTS, including process design, system customizing, and configuration.
• Ability to translate business requirements into clear technical concepts for developers, enabling custom SAP GTS development.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken); German language skills are an advantage.
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking combined with creativity, teamwork orientation, initiative, and a high level of reliability and learning agility.
• Willingness to travel to the company headquarters in Germany (approx. 10%).
