Your role in our team:

• Responsibility within a global commodity for product related material (PRM) for different CLAAS plants (Hungary and abroad).
• Managing all purchasing activities in alignment with the global strategy of Commodity Gearboxes as well as in connection with internal stakeholders within CLAAS.
• Coordination and control of all product-related strategic purchasing activities.
• Cross functional collaboration.
• Professional preparation and independent implementation of purchasing negotiations up to the conclusion of the contract, including drafting of development and framework supply contracts.
• Supporting the achievement of C-Q-D (Cost-Quality-Delivery) goals in development projects through the early integration of high-performance suppliers.
• Follow up and steering of supplier performance.
• Observation and analysis of the global procurement market and the derivation of potential as well as cost reduction measures in collaboration with the internal company interfaces.

Your profile:

• Completed studies, preferably in the field of business administration/industrial engineering.
• Three to five years of professional experience in strategic purchasing as well as in depth knowledge of contract law.
• Skills and experience in project management, as well as a high technical affinity.
• Comprehensive experience in negotiations.
• Very good entrepreneurial and analytical thinking skills as well as an independent, flexible and efficient way of working.
• Act confidently at internal and external management levels.
• Experience in working together in an interdisciplinary and intercultural environment.
• Very good communication and teamwork skills as well as business fluent English skills.
• Confident use of MS Office and SAP.
• Strong willingness to travel.
