Your role in our team:
- Designing subassemblies and components for grain harvester headers
- Developing detailed designs considering performance, cost, and durability factors
- Performing engineering analyses of the designs
- Creating CAD models, drawings, and documentation per CLAAS standards
- Managing and reducing design-related risks
- Designing prototypes and supporting manufacturing and testing activities
- Preparing for and assisting with pilot and full-scale production launches
- Driving continuous product improvements
- Supporting project planning and working collaboratively as a team member
Your profile:
- Degree in mechanical engineering
- Good English communication skills
- CAD software expertise and MS Office
- A proactive, system- and project-focused approach
Additional assets:
- Degree in agricultural mechanical engineering
- Knowledge of CATIA software
- 3+ years of product design experience (preferred, but newly graduated engineers are welcome!)
- Experience with assembly, welding, machining, and sheet metal processes
- Familiarity with harvesting machinery operation
- German language skills
