MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS
Oversee all aspects of a company’s financial activities. This role requires a deep understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. Controllers may also be involved in strategic planning and decision-making processes at the executive level.
• The Controller will be responsible for budget management, financial analysis, forecasting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.
• Monitor financial details to ensure that legal requirements are met, reviewing company financial reports and seeking ways to reduce costs.
• Participates in the decision-making process of significant investments, expenses and purchases.
• Supervise investment and cash management strategies.
• Oversee all company accounting practices, including accounting departments, preparing budgets, financial reports, tax and audit functions.
• Financial strategy, planning and forecasts; conferring with Sr. Controller or CFO, and other managers team members as necessary.
• Supervise investment and cash management strategies.
• Analyze and interpret financial data and recommend changes to improve systems and financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with AFIP, Rentas, and local legal requirements by researching existing and new legislation, consulting with outside advisors, and filing financial reports.
• Coordinate audit activities and implement audit recommendations.
• Monitor financial details to ensure that legal requirements are met, reviewing company financial reports and seeking ways to reduce costs.
• Work with human resources to design costs related strategies.
• Participates in the decision-making process of significant investments, expenses and purchases.
REQUIREMENTS
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws and best practices.
• Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting.
• BSc/BA in accounting, finance or relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus.
• Advanced Ms Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint).
• Advanced SAP Fi & Co.
• English level (advance).
