At CLAAS UK at Saxham we provide Sales, Service, Parts, IT, Marketing and Accounts support for our dealer network across the UK and Ireland. CLAAS UK is also the sole wholesale distributor for all CLAAS machinery in the UK and Ireland. Your role in our team:

  • As a Marketing Trainee at CLAAS UK, you will play a vital role in supporting the execution of marketing initiatives across both CLAAS UK and its Dealer network, ensuring consistent brand representation across on- and offline channels.  This role offers broad exposure to marketing coordination with a strong focus on digital marketing, communications and content creation.
  • You should be actively willing to take part in a college-level or equivalent educational course in marketing, enabling you to apply current industry knowledge while contributing effectively to CLAAS UK's marketing objectives.
  • This role is full time on a temporary contract of 18-24 months.

Your profile:

  • Experience
    • Previous exposure within an all-round Marketing role or interest in Marketing as a career path is highly desirable
    • This is an entry-level role, so enrolling on a Marketing course for this role is mandatory.
    • An understanding or interest in the agricultural industry is desirable to keep abreast of industry challenges and communicating effectively to consumers.
  • Skills and Knowledge
    • Positive attitude and flexible mindset are imperative to adapt to fast-changing consumer habits and changing trends.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office programmes.
    • Possessing creative writing or journalistic skills is desirable for creating compelling stories and creative campaigns; researching, writing and editing articles.
    • Awareness of GCPR and digital data management best practices is desirable.
    • The ability to work confidently on your own initiative as well as positively contributing to teamwork projects is essential.
  • Communication
    • You will ooze enthusiasm as well as be confident, friendly and approachable to both internal and external contacts.
    • Strong communication skills are imperative to be able to work with cross-functional teams and external agencies.
  • Organisation
    • Managing your own workload and prioritising tasks to meet deadlines is imperative.
    • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
    • Strong attention to detail is essential
