Your role in our team:
- Under the direction of the Head of After Sales, the After Sales Business Manager will provide sales support to our distribution network on all matters relating to our after sales business. You will manage our high dealer standards in accordance with CLAAS requirements and bring a closer focus on parts and service activities to work together, and enhance visibility of core solutions offered by CLAAS and our key partners.
- This role will involve travel to our UK and Ireland dealers with the main office being based either within the after sales department at Saxham, Bury St Edmunds or remote based depending on location.
- Main duties will include:
- Undertake significant responsibility for promoting and managing the implementation and ongoing development of the CLAAS After Sales business products, including MAXICARE, Maintenance Contracts and CLAAS Inspection checks, in-line with the company strategy.
- Focus on development of Parts and After Market activities through retail to customer, including using potential analysis to drive sales.
- Liaison with appropriate internal experts to promote and develop proactive parts & service sales at retail level, including delivery and development of promotional activities and initiatives.
- Monitoring of competitive activities in the marketplace and formulating key actions together with stakeholders.
- Plan routine effective visits to dealers to monitor performance of key KPI targets, deliver effective training, and develop uptake of CLAAS tools and services which add value to the after sales activities.
- Working with key suppliers to align common business targets and performance measures for continued growth, in line with core business activities.
- Hours of work:
- According to business requirements, a minimum of 37.5 hours per week.
- This role does not attract any overtime payments.

- A proven track record in the field of after-market sales, preferably through service and parts channels.
- Knowledge and experience of developing marketing plans, actions and campaigns which enhances business visibility and sales.
- Excellent communicator, who continually demonstrates highly efficient working methods, with excellent time management, organisational and planning skills.
- A self-motivated, dynamic and enthusiastic person that people will respect and respond to.
- Demonstrates a proactive approach to actively search for new opportunities, given increasing digitalisation and the growing population of connected machines.
- Able to multi-task, whilst maintaining high levels of service across all activities and diligently follow-up on any deferred aspects.
- Willingness to carry out any reasonable additional duties as required by CUK Management and to be flexible in their approach to the range and scope of the role.
