Your role on our team:

The Parts Counter Salesperson assists in the building and growth of our dealerships in Saskatchewan as well as performing the day to day operations of running a Parts Department. The role utilizes our ASPEN business system for parts invoicing and management as well as using the CLAAS parts information system to provide our customers with timely and accurate parts service.

 

 

  • Accurate and timely utilization of Aspen business system and the CLAAS parts support systems.
  • Effectively works closely with other dealer team members in Parts, Service, and Sales.
  • Provides input on creating processes to ensure the Parts Department runs effectively.
  • Works extended hours, as needed, during peak seasons as well as carrying a parts on call phone for after hour service.
  • Uses Service Manuals and Parts Books to look up specs and parts for repairs.

Your profile:

  • Journeyman Diploma preferred, not required.
  • Two to five years’ industry experience, preferred.
  • Working knowledge of farm equipment parts a plus.
  • Prior experience in parts sales / or counter experience, preferred.
  • Ability to safely operate forklift and other large machinery / must be able to pass and maintain a valid forklift certification.
  • Valid driver’s license with a verifiable safe driving history / ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.
  • Ability to multi-task and follow through with defined tasks.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Farm background desirable, not required.
  • Ability to travel within region and to be able to work with limited supervision.
  • Ability to operate large machinery.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and strong computer skills.
