Your role On our team:


The Accounting Clerk supports the Accounting, Sales, Service, and Parts Departments for all Canada West Harvest Centre (CWHC) locations. The position is responsible for accurate and timely data entry and clerical support pertaining to the daily dealership operations. 

 

  • Responsible for accurate and timely data entry for assigned accounting functions such as, but not limited to, invoicing, auditing, processing expenses, account reconciliations, and payment of invoices.
  • Accurately and timely records and inputs data into ASPEN as required.
  • Professionally interacts with internal and external vendors as required.
  • Supports GST, PST, and Tire Tax return processes.
  • Supports equipment settlements and funding.
  • Supports assigned account reconciliations, capital processes, and accounting email account.
  • Supports employee expense re-imbursement process.
  • Supports Warranty processing and reconciliations. 
  • Adheres to established company values, practices, policies, and procedures at all times. Follows and supports compliance with all applicable safety rules, laws, regulations, and standards. 
  • Demonstrates regular and punctual attendance at the assigned work location. 
     

Your profile:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a Business-related field.
  • Knowledge of general accounting and business practices and well as previous A/P and A/R experience, highly desired.
  • Proven ability to keep confidential data, maintain professionalism, and perform under pressure as well as the ability to display high degree of judgment, discretion, and confidentiality.
  • Detail oriented, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and follow through with defined tasks.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both written and orally. 
  • Good organization and time management skills with a willingness to work a flexible schedule to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient computer usage including, but not limited to, MS Office Suite as well as the ability to learn new software programs.
  • Ag related Industry experience preferred, not required.
