CFS Country Manager Spain - CLAAS Ibérica                                    

Job Objectives

This position will manage the whole activity of the current CFS local operational entity and ensure the implementation of the global strategy decided by the board of Directors with the objective of supporting CLAAS Spain and CFS Spain growth and profitability. This pivotal role entails managing the profit and loss (P&L) performance, leading a team of front and back office employees, and driving strategic initiatives to achieve business objectives.

Main Responsabilities and Functions

Manage the:

  • Compliance and the enforcement of the Cooperation Agreement and Services Mandate.
  • Dedicated relationship with the CLAAS Sales affiliates (management-sales-marketing-finance), BPLS (management, middle & back-office heads), CLAAS Dealers and top end Customers.
  • Escalation of risk decisions under conditions and refusals which could result to a commercial issue for Dealers or CLAAS Spain.
  • Achievement and follow-up of CFS Spain Budget.
  • CFS Spain dedicated staff, with a focus on talent development and retention.

 

Decide & initiate:

  • the annual Sales & Marketing plan (including campaigns).
  • new products and enhancement of existing ones.
  • the revision or creation of processes & tools to develop or improve the activity.
  • Service level needs (credit and payment lead-time, after sales, portfolio administration…).
  • Strategy and action plan to support BPLS back office on arrears and doubtful.

 

Inform the Vendor Development Manager about:

  • the preparation and draft of the annual budget.
  • new or any changes to treasury management such as forward buying.
  • policies & sales strategies to guarantee sustained growth & profitability.

Your profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in the agricultural or related industry.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, P&L management, and risk assessment.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate employees.
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of driving business growth and achieving targets.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel around 50% of the time.
  • Full professional proficiency in Spanish and English.
