Industrial IoT Engineer (m/f/d)

Your role in our team:

• In exciting projects, you will work closely with the business departments to develop concepts that implement the digitalization of production and work out proposals for technology and system selection.
• You create interface specifications to ensure that the OT systems work seamlessly with the IT systems and processes.
• Working in a team, you will introduce a standardized OT/IT architecture and integrate the production machines into the system landscape. In doing so, you will manage the balancing act between stability, industry standards and innovation.
• As a (sub-) project manager, you will take on responsibility in complex digitalization and IT projects or work on international projects to increase the efficiency and productivity of our production companies.
• You will moderate workshops to identify, consolidate and document new requirements.

Your profile:

• You know the current trends in digitalization and have a instinct for innovative solutions, a desire to use the latest technologies and enjoy learning about new requirements and complex systems.
• You have successfully completed a university degree in business informatics, engineering or a similarly suitable specialization.
• You have a keen interest and knowledge in the areas of Industry 4.0, Smart Factory/Production and Digital Supply Chain as well as the automation of production plants and material flow systems.
• You are familiar with various protocols, in particular OPC-UA and MQTT, and IT applications for data collection, processing, and visualization.
• Ideally, you have knowledge of SAP ABAP programming as well as SAP PP Production Planning and MES Manufacturing Execution System.
• You have a confident personality, the ability to persuade and implement ideas, as well as reliability, the ability to work under pressure and enjoy complex, dynamic tasks.
• You have very good communication skills in English (written and spoken) as well as advanced German language skills and are willing to travel.
