Country Sales Manager (m/f/d)

Your role in our team:

• You are responsible for the distribution of CLAAS machines in South Africa, through the official CLAAS Importers.
• You are the central contact person with interface responsibility between the importer and CLAAS functional areas.
• You are establishing and developing the sales structures in the assigned countries.
• You are the Representative of CLAAS at sales events and international trade fairs.
• You take responsibility for sales and results for the CLAAS business in the assigned country.
• You are supporting customers when visiting CLAAS Factories in Europe.
• You are maintaining contacts Key player in the market such as politicians, authorities etc.
• The preferred place of residence for this position is South Africa.

Your profile:

• Completed studies in agriculture, agricultural engineering or business administration
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience in sales, product management and / or business management
• Very good knowledge of agricultural engineering and CLAAS products essential
• Very good knowledge of German is desirable, very good knowledge of English is essential
• Computer skills (MS Office) required, SAP R/3 experience desirable
• Flexible, reliable and independent way of working, organisational skills
• Ability to work in a team and to communicate
• Negotiating skills and confident appearance
• Willingness to travel regularly and intensively
