Your role in our team:
- Responsibility within the commodity Machinings for several sub clusters:
- the full life cycle of the products (project, serial, after sales)
- the different CLAAS plants (mainly Germany)
- Managing all purchasing activities in alignment with Global Machinings strategy as well as in connection with internal stakeholders within CLAAS
- Daily cross functional collaboration
- Professional preparation and independent implementation of purchasing negotiations up to the conclusion of the contracts, including framework supply contracts.
- Supporting the achievement of C-Q-D (Cost Quality Delivery) goals in development projects through the early integration of high performance suppliers
- Follow up and steering of suppliers performance
- Observation and analysis of the market
Your profile:
- Completed studies, preferably in the field of business administration/industrial engineering
- Several years of professional experience in strategic purchasing as well as in depth knowledge of contract law
- Skills and experience in project management, as well as a high technical affinity for the field of Machinings (milling and turning technology), would be highly appreciated
- Comprehensive experience in negotiations
- Very good entrepreneurial and analytical thinking skills as well as an independent, flexible and efficient way of working
- Act confidently at internal and external management levels
- Experience in working together in an interdisciplinary and intercultural environment
- Very good communication and teamwork skills as well as business fluent English skills
- Confident use of MS Office and SAP
- Willingness to travel
