Your role in our team:
- Responsibility within the global commodity Hydraulics for one (or several) global subcommodity purchasing portfolio for:
- the full life cycle of the products (project, serial, after sales)
- the different CLAAS plants (Germany and abroad)
- Definition and management of the subcommodity purchasing strategy, in connection with internal stakeholders in CLAAS group
- Daily cross functional collaboration
- Professional preparation and independent implementation of purchasing negotiations up to the conclusion of the contract, including drafting of development and framework supply contracts
- Supporting the achievement of C-Q-D (Cost-Quality-Delivery) goals in development projects through the early integration of high-performance suppliers
- Follow up and steering of suppliers performance
- Observation and analysis of the global procurement market and the derivation of potential as well as cost reduction measures in collaboration with the internal company interfaces
Your profile:
- Completed studies, preferably in the field of business administration/industrial engineering
- Several years of professional experience in strategic purchasing as well as in-depth knowledge of contract law
- Skills and experience in project management, as well as a high technical affinity for the field of Hydraulics technology, would be highly appreciated
- Comprehensive experience in negotiations
- Very good entrepreneurial and analytical thinking skills as well as an independent, flexible and efficient way of working
- Act confidently at internal and external management levels
- Experience in working together in an interdisciplinary and intercultural environment
- Very good communication and teamwork skills as well as business fluent English skills
- Confident use of MS Office and SAP
- Willingness to travel
