Your role in our team:
- Responsibility for the cross-product steering systems and the associated Precision Farming terminal software, with a particular focus on the CEMIS 1200 and the associated software and hardware
- Ensuring the seamless integration of the steering system with the digital CLAAS ecosystem (CLAAS Connect) and promoting collaboration across departments
- Collecting, consolidating, and prioritising customer feedback and requirements for project implementation, liaising with product managers for machinery and CLAAS Connect
- Developing product visions and contributing to strategic planning and roadmaps
- Providing project updates and preparing training, marketing, and product materials
- Monitoring industry trends and competitor features, and identifying regional agricultural production trends
- Preparing economic assessments, decision documents, and product presentations
Your profile:
- Master’s degree in Agricultural Engineering or a comparable field
- Several years’ experience in (electronic) product management in the agricultural or off-highway machinery sectors, with hands-on experience with farm machinery
- Strong awareness of technological trends and a passion for innovation
- Strategic thinking, customer focus, and goal-oriented approach
- Expertise in methods and creative product definition
- Confident in presentation and negotiation with the ability to inspire
- Flexible and willing to travel approximately 20% and adaptable to flexible working arrangements
- Fluent in German and English; French skills are a plus
