Your role in our team:
- Responsibility within the commodity Cabin Interior/ Electronics for a defined cluster during the full life cycle of products (project, serial, after sales)
- Managing all purchasing activities in alignment with the commodity strategy
- Cross functional collaboration with R&D, QM, SCM in a worldwide network at different locations
- Professional preparation and independent implementation of purchasing negotiations up to the conclusion of contracts
- Supporting the achievement of Cost-Quality-Delivery goals in development projects through early integration of high-performance suppliers
- Follow up and steering of supplier performance
- Observation and analysis of supply markets
Your profile:
- Completed studies, preferably in the field of industrial engineering, electrical engineering, business administration
- Several years of professional experience in strategic purchasing as well as knowledge of contract law
- Skills and experience in project management, as well as a high technical affinity for mechanical Engineering/Electrics & Electronics would be highly appreciated
- Comprehensive experience in negotiations
- Very good entrepreneurial and analytical thinking skills as well as an independent, flexible and efficient way of working
- Act confidently with internal and external management levels
- Experience in working in interdisciplinary and intercultural environments
- Very good communication and teamwork skills as well as business fluent English skills, French and German skills optional
- Confident use of MS Office and SAP
- Willingness to travel worldwide, approx. 20%
