Your role in our team:
- Take full responsibility within the Electronics commodity for a defined sub-cluster throughout the entire product lifecycle (project phase, serial production, and after-sales)
- Manage all strategic purchasing activities in line with the global Electronics strategy and in close collaboration with internal stakeholders across CLAAS
- Work in daily cross-functional cooperation with engineering, quality, logistics, and project teams
- Independently prepare and conduct purchasing negotiations, including the conclusion of contracts and framework supply agreements
- Support the achievement of Cost, Quality and Delivery (C-Q-D) targets in development projects through the early involvement of high-performing suppliers
- Monitor, evaluate and actively steer supplier performance
- Continuously observe and analyze market developments to identify risks and opportunities.
Your profile:
- Successfully completed a degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in strategic purchasing, including solid knowledge of contract law
- Strong project management skills and high technical affinity, particularly in the electronics domain
- Extensive negotiation experience and confident in discussions
- Strong entrepreneurial and analytical thinking, combined with an independent, flexible, and structured way of working
- Confident communication at internal and external management levels
- Experience working in interdisciplinary and intercultural environments
- Strong communicator and team player with business-fluent English; French skills are an advantage
- Proficient in MS Office and SAP
- Willingness to travel as required.
