Your role on our team:

Parts Warehouse Technician performs tasks such as receiving inventory goods; stock sorting; stocking warehouse location code; inventory counts; order filling; order packing; checking and shipping, and to ensure commitment times are met and warehouse operates at maximum efficiency.

 

  • Utilizes SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and FAST shipping systems for all shipping and receiving activities.
  • Checks in freight or processes shipments, as required.
  • Visually inspects product for quality assurance, including integrity of design and visible signs of damage.
  • Counts and verifies goods in receiving units and checks against the freight bill and purchase order.
  • Loads, unloads, and moves products and materials by hand or with material handling equipment safely within the warehouse facility.
  • Unpacks, sorts, and accurately stocks goods onto shelves within the facility. 
  • Communicates with Team Leaders or Supervisors any quality issues, rejects, and packaging or processing concerns.
  • Picks and packs orders according to company scheduling and under company guidelines.
  • Creates labels and accurately attaches to goods.
  • Cycle counts inventory.
  • Cleans and organizes shelves; maintains and organizes inventory to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Adheres to established company values, practices, policies, and procedures at all times. Follows and supports compliance with all applicable safety rules, laws, regulations, and standards. 
  • Demonstrates regular and punctual attendance at the assigned work location.   

Note:  Must have a verifiably safe driving history and valid driver’s license.

Your profile:

  • Minimum of high school degree or equivalent required.
  • Background with operating heavy machinery and forklifts desirable.
  • Previous experience with warehousing, order picking, and piece part inventory, preferred.
  • Experience in order picking and packing goods for shipment, preferred.
  • Background and knowledge of the proper and safe use of lifting devices a plus.
  • Must be able to meet deadlines and handle a high volume workload in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
  • Must be able to accurately follow sequencing or order directions.
  • Must be able to apply knowledge of product and storage shape and size for product storage and loading.
